ADELAIDE, Australia (AP) — Novak Djokovic lost his doubles match but received a warm welcome from the crowd at the Adelaide International on Monday.
Djokovic pushed through hamstring tightness to claim last week’s Adelaide International 1 and was a firm favourite for a 10th Melbourne Park title.

Djokovic won the Adelaide International as a 19-year-old in 2007 for his third ATP Tour title.
He was barred from returning for three years, but the government has since lifted the ban and Djokovic made a winning return at the Adelaide International, beating Frenchman Constant Lestienne 6-3, 6-2.
